MY OLDEST ANTIQUE!

This post is long overdue (because I lost the item the evening I purchased it...thankfully, I found it in my grandmother's room after eight long months)! Here is a coin I purchased from the Canadian National Exhibition last August for a mere $60. I did all my research before purchasing it -- the seller and the coin itself are all legitimate! Thank God for smart phones. They're perfect for avid antique shoppers.

Anyhow, here are pictures of the front and back of the coin. It's lovely! I really like how it's imperfectly pressed. It adds to the uniqueness of it!

The coin was minted in 276 A.D., during the reign of Emperor Marcus Aurelias Probus (pictured on the front of the coin) who reigned between the years 276 A.D. and 282 A.D. The back side depicts Jupiter giving the Emperor a globe.
